Phoenix Academy Public Charter High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts, is dedicated to empowering resilient, disconnected students from Lawrence, Haverhill, and Methuen. Since opening in 2012 as part of the state’s turnaround initiative, Phoenix Academy has provided rigorous academics and relentless support to help students take ownership of their futures. In 2018, the school became a Commonwealth charter school, expanding its reach to serve up to 250 students, ages 14-22. Phoenix Academy Lawrence focuses on preparing students for high school, college, and self-sufficient adulthood, with a model that caters to students who face significant challenges. The school offers multi-quarter enrollment, welcoming new students throughout the year. With a commitment to academic excellence and support, Phoenix Academy has graduated 66 scholars since its inception and continues to provide a transformative education for students in the local communities.
