Jackson Day School

Jackson Day School (JDS) is a charter school in Charlotte, North Carolina, that nurtures the whole child, emphasizing academic excellence, character, ethics, and personal growth. Founded in 2009, JDS initially operated as a private school before transitioning to a charter school in 2018. The school focuses on character education, integrating respect, responsibility, and citizenship throughout the curriculum and daily activities. JDS offers a college preparatory program with opportunities for students to take college-level courses through partnerships with Belmont Abbey and Central Piedmont Community College.
