Welcome to Charter School Match! This whole project started with a simple problem: my family and I couldn’t find the right charter schools when we needed them.

One of us was searching for an elementary charter school in our neighborhood. Another needed a high school charter school with smaller class sizes. And then there was me, stuck Googling and calling school after school, only to find out they either weren’t at the right grade level or weren’t accepting new students. It felt like searching for a needle in a haystack—and I knew we weren’t the only families struggling.

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands. I dove into the world of charter schools and started researching every option I could find across Arizona. I quickly realized there are hundreds of charter schools out there, but not all are created equal. So I made it my mission to build a directory where you can easily filter charter schools by grade level (elementary, middle, or high school), learning format (virtual or in-person), and teacher-to-student ratio.
